In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, the #2 LW JV1 team defeated the D155 Predators 7-0 in the opening round of the AHAI state playoffs, effectively silencing their airhorns throughout the match. This decisive victory marks a strong start for LW as they aim for a championship run.

Jason Sciacca ignited the scoring frenzy early in the first period with a quick goal, assisted by Grant Briscoe and Gavin Vasquez. The momentum continued as Anthony Skopick found the net later in the period, thanks to an assist from Dillon Stewart.
